Terms of service
Short, in plain language, and written to be kept rather than to be defended.

Who you are dealing with
reportingtoincompetence.com is operated by Shoreline Consulting LLC, a Washington limited liability company, on behalf of Darin R. Molnar. Course purchases are sold by Shoreline Consulting LLC and will appear on your statement under that name. Questions go to [email protected].
What you are buying
A license to access the course or courses you paid for, for your own use, for as long as this site operates them. Self-paced courses do not expire and include revisions we publish later at no additional charge. Live cohort seats entitle you to the sessions of the cohort you are seated in, plus the recordings of that cohort.
Access is personal. You may not share your access link, resell the material, or use it to teach a course of your own. You may absolutely use every worksheet, script, and template inside your own job, including at an employer who paid for your seat.
What you are not buying
This is education, not advice. Nothing on this site or in a course is legal, financial, medical, human-resources, or professional advice, and no attorney-client or similar relationship is created by buying anything here. Employment law varies enormously by jurisdiction, and situations involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, safety, or contract disputes need a qualified professional in your own country and state, not a course.
No outcome is promised. The material is drawn from research and four decades of practice, but your organization, your manager, and your circumstances are yours. If a course helps, that is the point. If it does not, the refund below is the remedy.
Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout page and never touch this site or its servers. Prices are in US dollars and shown before you pay. If your employer needs an invoice instead, ask and one will be issued.
Refunds
Thirty days, no argument. The refund page has the details and adds no conditions.
Your account and access
Access is granted to the email address you paid with, by way of a signed link. Keep it to yourself; anyone holding it can reach your courses. If you lose it, ask for another. We may suspend access that is being shared broadly or scraped, and we will contact you first if that ever comes up.
Live cohorts
Cohorts are capped so that everyone gets time. Participants discuss real situations at real employers, so confidentiality is a condition of the seat: what is said in a session stays in the session, and sessions are not to be recorded by participants. Recordings we make go only to that cohort. If we cannot seat you within a schedule that works, your seat rolls forward or is refunded in full at your choice.
Content and copyright
The book, the courses, and everything on this site are © Darin R. Molnar, all rights reserved, except for the brief quotation ordinarily permitted in reviews and scholarly discussion. Templates and worksheets are deliberately unbranded so that you can use them at work without announcing where they came from; that is a license to use them, not to republish them.
Changes
These terms can change. If they change materially, the version you bought under continues to govern your purchase — a later revision cannot retroactively reduce what you already paid for.
Governing law
Washington State, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Nothing here waives any right you hold under the mandatory consumer law of your own country.
